Xb64a HOTEL DE FRANCE, CHATEAUROUX, Indre, France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/8/JAB. 27th May 1936 To. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from G.W.H. c to. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} With reference to your memo Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M.14.5.36. We note your remarks that the jack pads will be located by solid ears of the Woodhead clip in the final design. On B.56.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} there are no rivets and nothing to prevent the pads moving. This is evidently a temporary scheme but as it is a 10000 mile car, we cannot issue a standardisation sheet stating that the pads are satisfactory. ------------- G.W.H. | ||
