Y5010. To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}10/KT.18.12.31. NEW CRANKSHAFT FORGINGS. Referring to By.8/G.4.12.31. it would appear that these forgings are to be machined to E.56885 (i.e. with flats) but we gather this is not so and that they should be machined similar to the crankshaft that has just done 10,000 miles. In that case will you please instruct RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} accordingly. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
