-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/MJ.10.9.31. piston. It seems, however, to have less tendency to fly to the top of the stroke under sudden acceleration. We should like to make some tests with this piston but before we can do so we want a needle which can give us approximately the W.0.2 results that we get with the standard piston. The weight of the piston we are using, and to which the curve refers, is 17 ozs.. The weight of the lightened piston to which we refer is 9.25 ozs. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. P.S. Is there in existence an S.U. Carburetter bigger than the model which you fit to the 8 Litre Bentley?. We find this size of carburetter to be rather too small when we use it as a single carburetter for our 7 3/4 Litre 40/50 car. | ||
