We give below the specification to which the steering of 38-EX should be built. This specification also applies to any Ph.III with Wraith front wheel movement. (1) Steering cam F.87834 0.700 lead. Timken bearings. (2) Malleable iron steering box. (3) Ball bearing type roller follower, with bearings finished by Ransome & Marles. We will supply these roller followers. (4) Rockershaft to F.98877 but with metal removed as in the attached print Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}185. (5) Otherwise to standard LOP. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J.Hardy. | ||
