Dear Sirs, Part No.EW.1666-Washer-Filler Cap. We are in receipt of your letter of the 26th instant, and are sorry to hear the six sample Washers cannot be satisfactorily tested by reason of the fact that the thickness is oversize. We will look into this point carefully, but we fear it may not be possible to check this up unless you return one of the Washers. We do not want to put you to a lot of trouble but if you happen to have one will you please return it and we can then gauge it up for size. In the meanwhile, we will put in hand another 1/2 dozen to the modified drawing 2" o.d. x 1.25" i.d. x .15" thick and will request works to take greater care in cutting to the required thickness. We are, Dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, THE AVON INDIA RUBBER CO., LTD., E G Clemson Sales Manager, General Rubber Goods division. AJ | ||
