Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 25th instant, we have inspected the 6.50 x 16 Fort cover received under Advice Note WG {Mr Gill - Financial Director} /F47127, and, as explained on the telephone this afternoon, are able to confirm that this is one of our normal 6-ply new pattern Fort covers. We agree that it embodies tied up shoulder studs in conformity with all E.L.P. sizes in the Fort range, but it does not include the rounded tread shoulder which characterizes the 'C' type pattern, and which was the subject of discussion regarding tread width on new and worn tyres with Mr. Lambourn last week.
