It will be necessary (when this car is having the new splashers fitted) for the scuttle to be stiffened to prevent jellying, which is particularly bad on this chassis, and noisy due to creaking badly around the instrument board.

I cannot spare this car until 7-EX is returned, which I [text struck through] hope will not be long, as we are expecting bad weather any time now.
