F.Dodd I know nothing of this. Have you agreed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

BENTLEY DASHBOARD.

We understand that it has now been agreed to delete the cast beading around the edge of Bentley dashboard which at present locates the rest rubber, and wish to confirm that it will be convenient to introduce this modification at the 1st chassis in 'M' series.

The modified dashboard will necessitate new rest rubber of revised section, and the existing rubber costing £9.10.0d., already delivered for 'M' series will be rendered scrap. The deletion of machining and hand chipping provided by the simplified dashboard will provide a saving of 6/- per chassis, therefore, the cost of rubber rendered scrap will be recovered by the 30th chassis in 'M' series.
