CARS IN EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

We constantly review the cars in the Expl:
Dept: to see which one can be got rid of. Since
the last quarterly report, we have handed over to
Sales 4-G-11 and 5-G-11 to be sold. During the next
quarter we should be able to rid of 46-PK, 49-GB and
7-G-11.

Normally, we reckon that we require 5 cars of
each type to carry out experimental work efficiently.
This allows for :-

A car being run 10,000 miles.
A car for Mr. Royce's use.
A car being dismantled in the Expl: Shop.
2 cars for experimental tests.
