AIR SILENCER CARBURETTER. Origin. To reduce carburetter suction noise. Experimental Test Report. Tested on Test Bench for power and metering and found satisfactory. Power loss due to silencer only 2 H.P. max. Road Test Report. Run 10,000 miles on 24-EX. in France. Suction noise considerably reduced compared with Std. carburetter.
