CHASSIS cont'd

(37) 35° Servo cams Ex.28498/9 already fitted.
(38) Front equalizer lever GW.931, otherwise N.Sch.5145.
(39) Radiator.
Refit baffle EW.1170 to top tank retaining present SCD.81 baffle already fitted.
(40) Fan (EC) 243
Fit new 5 blade Cadillac type fan to latest scheme.
Fit .85/1 speed ratio drive with mould No.336 belt.
Pack with Belmoline high melting point grease.
(41) Undershields.
Fit up undershield scheme to be instructed verbally by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std - no drawings available.
(42) Car Heater
Fit BUICK car heater to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. (in position to be indicated by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.) together with defroster and connections for same (ducts to be provided in body by Sanderson & Holmes - we will arrange this.)

ENGINE

(a) Increased inertia crank-balance weights (now being detailed)
(b) Big end bearings of .062" thin section in eentrioast A.C.6. with rods to suit.
No shims.
These to the arrangement Ex.29152.
(Subject to satisfactory test.)
(B) Cyl. head thermometer pocket SCD.177
Modify cylinder head to have Ex.S.229 scheme of thermometer bulb position - fit thermometer bulb in this position.
(d) Clutch
Fit Thermoid faced driven plate.
Test poundage of thrust springs and report.
Note:- Swdl{Len H. Swindell} is seeing to latest oil retaining scheme for rear crankshaft bearing.
(g) Carburetter.
Feed hole from float chamber to main jet .156" dia. instead of .106"
Accelerator pump leather piston.
Possible change of main jet to .061 instead of .063
Modify to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}467. Choke torsion spring E.61387.
