40/50 HP. and 20/25 HP. RADIATOR HEX. ENDED MATRIX TUBES.

The following procedure should be dealt with as soon as possible.

(1) 40/50 HP. E.82196 (6 3/4 to 8 mm.) should be marked "small" tube and the depth of indentations increased from .025" to .030". A print should be sent to the makers so that tools may be altered for future supplies.

(2) 40/50 HP. E.82520 (7 1/4 to 9 mm.) marked "large" tube should be issued for three experimental sets at once. The depth of indentations of this tube should be .040"

(3) 20/25 HP. E.57006 (6 3/4 to 8 mm.) should be redrawn to 3.250" long with indentations .030" deep. It is intended not to order these at present.

(4) 20/25 HP. A new drawing should be issued for the "large" tube (7 1/4 to 9 mm.) 3.250" long with indentations .040" deep and three experimental sets instructed.

All these tubes will be in copper.
