48430 To EY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG10.3.26. STEERING WHEEL FOR NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I. X3465 With reference to C2/C9.3.26 attached. There has never been a standardisation sheet for the steering wheel on the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. On the old Silver Ghost a standardisation sheet was sent round for the 18" wheel. Originally it was intended that all Phantom cars should have an 18" dia. wheel. It was only because of the objections raised by Sales that it was agreed to use 17" on 'B' steering. CWB. FN. and DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} came to Derby with regard to this matter. MADE AT CROXLEY We prefer the 18" wheel and therefore/if Sales now agree, there is no object in taking this matter any further. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
