Dear Pilkington,

Many thanks for your letter of 18th. December.

I am extremely interested in the behaviour of your Cub engine in aluminium because it is a dry liner engine without water between the bores. I should be interested in having an MEP curve of this unit to see how it compares with our own for specific output.

I should very much like to see the spare block which you have and also the engine when it is stripped. You will recollect that we gave you some information about liner fits and it will be instructive to see whether your results parallel our own.

Yours sincerely,
