The most popular air cleaner at the Show appeared to be the A.C.

O.S. PETROL GAUGE.
We were interested in this gauge because it is free from the majority of the disadvantages of the Nivex. It works on the principle of a column of mercury being lifted by a float and registering pressure as a head of mercury on a gauge fitted to the dashboard. The advantages of this principle are that the gauge is constant reading, there is no pump by means of which the gauge could be strained, and the pressure range worked through is 19 times as great as that of the Nivex so that the gauge can be made robust and in consequence more reliable. We are arranging to have one of these fitted to one of our tanks for trial.
