Dear Mackay, Thank you for your letter of March 6th. We are prepared to run some 6.50 x 16 tyres with a new tread compound if you will send them along. We are not now, of course, doing any Continental running nor are we doing a big mileage in this country. Also, we find it difficult to correlate wear figures when engines are running in this country because the conditions are not so stable as in our Continental testing.
