Re Goshawk - Crankshaft - Section 4010.

Crankshaft with increased Balance Weights from existing Crankshaft Forgings.

Please receive herewith blue prints of the following drawing, detailed in accordance with Mr. Bailey's instructions.

E.42750 Crankshaft which replaces E.40344.

Will you please instruct as required, together with remainder of parts to standard L.O.P.

This completes instructions for experiment, the object of which is to test a crankshaft with the balance weights as large as possible from existing forgings, and in this connection would mention that care should be taken in marking out, as the dimensions given are particularly near forging sizes.
