I have read Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ.16.6.33 with very great interest.
I was under the impression that the 8 Cylinder 2-litre super-charged Alfa Romeo gave a very much better performance than is indicated by your memo, and of course this is very satis-factory from our point of view, especially if, as you say, you think that we should have very little difficulty in demonstrating that the 3½-litre Bentley is actually faster than the Alfa Romeo except for maximum performance, as I think it is the general all-round performance that most people are more interested in than the absolute maximum speed.
