Bentley - Clutch. With regard to your query re clutch slip with plates half worn, I have taken the matter up with BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and the following are the facts. The maximum allowance for wear is .035" on each face, total .070". Total deflection of spring is 1.000" under 1320 lbs load.
