KESTREL X CARBURETTERS.
-----------------------

I made a number of enquiries from LA.{L. A. Archer} etc.. regarding the above, but with very poor results.

Records do not show numbers of carburetters anywhere, but all redundant material is sent to No.4 M.U., R.A.F., Ryeslip, Middlesex.

Archer is under the impression that we recently dispatched 14 of these carburetters to the above address and suggests that you get into touch with Naylor, in the Shipping Office, or alternatively ring up Wing Commander Doveton, No.16 M.U., R.A.F., Stafford, Telephone No. Stafford 1300, explaining to him that you are anxious to get hold of two or three Kestrel carburetters for experimental purposes, and could he give you any information as to procedure.

Archer added that he thought Naylor had got back a certain amount of redundant material at different times, and possibly it might be simpler to get into touch with him first of all.
