COPY. SECRET. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} COOLING INVESTIGATIONS. Experimental report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG28.11.24 We are extremely interested in your very thorough investigations on this subject and the conclusion come to. Can you please let us know :- (a) What alterations you consider might be made on cars which have already been delivered. (b) Ditto on cars not yet delivered. (c) EAC. cars not yet made. The sooner we arrive at a decision on these points, the better, as (a) there are a number of disgruntled customers who will be taking their cars to the South of France very shortly, and we should like to get these altered before then (b) if we go on delivering cars without alterations, we shall have more disgruntled customers; (c) we want to avoid owners of EAC. cars spreading reports as soon as they receive them that they are just as bad as the 40/50 HP. and that we have failed again in producing a car which does not overheat.
