Rml/R.{Sir Henry Royce}

16th November, 1937.

Captain A.W. Phillips,
The Royal Automobile Club,
Pall Mall, S.W.1.

Dear Capt. Phillips,

Thank you for your letter of the 15th.

I have written to Mr. Cowen at our London Office, and asked him if he can fix you up with a Demonstration car for Saturday.

We should have been very pleased to let you have one of our Experimental cars, but for obvious reasons we cannot guarantee reliability on these, and Brighton is rather a long way off to service them.

Yours sincerely,
