Re 21-G-4 Dashboard.

-------------------

We notice that the dash-board is off this car for the fitting of the noise insulation scheme. As we are anxious to try a 25 H.P. car with a dashboard rigidly attached to the face of the scuttle, we think this would be a marvellous opportunity of doing so, and would be glad if you would arrange to have the dash-board replaced in this manner.

The packing between the dash and the body could be of wood covered in green baize. The holes in the body and the dash can be bushed and extra bolts fitted as on SpectreCodename for Phantom III No.3, 32 EX.

If this scheme proves satisfactory we should consider standardising it on the 20/25 H.P. car.

We understand that Sales have tried one or two cars so treated, and have noticed no defects so far, but it is impossible for them to test the scheme from the point of view of endurance on a London trial car.
