Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} U.S.A. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.29.1.34. Attached herewith is a note from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} My own view is that if the driver has more comfort with a steering wheel as arranged on the DeSoto it has got to be considered seriously. If the steering wheel is not in the position for the driver to have much power over the steering we should anticipate that steerings would have to be improved so that a lot of power is not necessary. We have just received your cable where Chryslers claim pushing the engine forward they can get away with less rating on the front springs. Our preliminary tests of the Vulture have shewn that the riding on that car is very good. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Attached E.11/HP.24.1.34. | ||
