To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}for Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} 2. R3/IB21615. the side plates apart, and it was necessary to allow these to slide. I do not believe a similar experiment has been made with the crinkled type of radiator, which is a pity. Mr Elliott is sending tonight sketches that will enable a radiator to be made up specially with side plates and side trunnions. If we are able to make this conversion fairly easily, we think that providing the crinkled tubes are really flexible, the scheme provides for all sources of trouble, except perhaps, the necessity of some diagonal braces suggested some few weeks ago.
