SHOCK DAMPER KNOCKS.

30.4.37., With reference to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les8/R.{Sir Henry Royce} the six complaints of shock damper knocks on Phantom III during the Quarter ending 31st March, were received from N., and we give you below the particulars requested:-

With regard to 25/30 HP. chassis, we have only two complaints of this nature, details of which are given below:-

GUL-82. 19,810. 1 Supply and fit new bushes to nearside rear damper and re-fit bushes of offside do.
GHL-12. 5.012. 1 Clear oilways and polish parts of rear connecting links, re-fit bushes of rear dampers, polish parts, clear oilways, machine bushes and adjust front anchorages top and bottom.

These complaints were also received from N.
