+260 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}20/KW.21.3.35. GAE-20. Trials Car. We have improved the steering onthe above car by reducing the load on the cross steering tube from 10 lbs. to 6 lbs. At the same time we changed the oil in the steering box from Amber A to Castrol XL, and in so doing have reduced the tackiness in the worm and nut. It should be reported to Cricklewood that there is excessive play in the exhaust pipe sliding joint, causing annoying rattle. Also a stud is broken off the support bracket to the front end of rear silencer. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
