Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} file for Sp.{Mr Spinney} GOSHAWK - RE LUGGAGE GRID. [Handwritten: X3524] [Stamp: RECEIVED JUN 30 1922] We send herewith N. sch. 1300 showing a luggage grid for the Goshawk. The design is liked by Sales, and we would therefore like an experimental car to be fitted with this grid in conjunction with the wheel carrier, and tested either over very bad roads, or on the bumping rig. Will Derby please check this drawing by setting out the grid with the correct carrier for Dunlop wire wheels, and if any radical change in design is necessitated, inform WW. Since it is probable that we shall sell this grid as an extra, we wish Derby to quote us a price at which they can supply grids in quantities to Sales. Please supply Sales with 3 prints of this scheme, for their information. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
