MAGNETOS ON 20/25 CHASSIS

We would suggest that it is now opportune for us to delete the magneto from the 20/25 chassis. Our reasons for suggesting this are :-

(1) That we have, for a number of years now on all our experimental tests, rarely had occasion to use the magneto owing to battery ignition failure and several 10,000 mile tests have been completed on 20/25 H.P. chassis recently without any cause for the magneto to be used.

(2) Owing to the fact that the magneto will be deleted on J.S. and Peregrine, it would perhaps be advisable to gain a certain amount of experience on the 20/25 without a magneto.

We should be glad, therefore, if a decision can be arrived at with regard to the deletion of the magneto owing to the obvious saving resulting thereby.
