For the attention of Mr. Hives. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 26th inst. giving us dimensions of the threaded hole in the 25 h.p. combustion head for the 14 m/m plug. We are having some special plugs made up to suit this sketch, and hope to be able to forward these to you in the course of a few days. In regard to your letter of the 25th inst. signed by Mr. Lidsey, in which you complain of misfiring of the C3. type plug in your standard P2. car on magneto ignition, we think that this can only be due to the plug being unduly pocketted, and if you will be good enough to forward us a similar drawing showing the depth of thread in the combustion chamber on the P2. engine, we will let you have some suitable plugs to overcome this trouble. Yours faithfully, LODGE PLUGS LIMITED. Bernard Hopps DIRECTOR [Handwritten notes on document] Top: X425 Charles. Next to attention line: 29/4/32 Bottom left: LID{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
