Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}4/R.23.4.37. Thank you for the parcel of broken pieces includ- ing ball bearing from the rear hub on 35-EX. With regard to this latter, we presume that you removed the rivets from the cage to examine the bearing, and that these had not been omitted in assembly. In view of what you have told us about the gear-box stay, we are sending you by Air Mail to-morrow morning some new parts made of case-hardened steel. Will you please fit these as soon as they arrive, so as to get as much mileage on them as possible. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
