Cylinders Bore Wear.

There are certain experimental cars (cylinders of some have had special treatment) which have completed a sufficiently useful mileage, of which we require measurements of the bore wear.

They are as follows:-

At Derby (Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy})

25. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} (Chrome plated bores)

Although this car has to date only completed between 5,000 - 6,000 miles, we wish to inspect the bores, for fracture of the chrome.

24. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} (Three bores with Austenitic steel inserts)

B. 50. L.S. ( Mr. Bealby )

W.M.B.11 ( SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s Car ) ( Ph. Chr. inserts)

29. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} (Glasgow Transport)
