contd :- -2- straps without any detrimental results. The shoes we are using are castings, the front braking is standard. Therefore/with duralumin shoes and reduced front braking, there should be a considerable margin of safety with a lightened shoe. The WW. drum dampers appear so far to be very effective. However we feel if the damping could be obtained by reducing instead of adding weight, it would be an asset.
