Pistons LOP.EB.4318.

Pistons chalk tested - free from cracks - Measurements including ring side clearances taken and recorded.
Maximum ring side clearances taken .0015".

Gudgeon Pins. Magnetically tested - condition good.

Cylinder Head LOP.EB.4131.

Cylinder Head has been crack tested - condition good.

Inlet Valve Guides.- Condition good - maximum wear .0005" -
Seats of inlet valves are in good condition.

Valves & Fittings LOP.EB.4112.

Valves have been acid tested for cracks - condition good.

Valve Springs No.6 inner valve Spring (E.86364 P.III type) broken at second coil from bottom.

Rocker Bushes - Slightly worn locally.

Camshaft & Fittings LOP.EB.4314.

Camshaft has been magnetically crack tested - Condition good.

Distributor Driving Gear. - Condition good - wear between gears negligible.

Bottom tappets. have been magnetically crack tested - condition good - measurements taken and recorded.

Water Pump LOP.EB.4208.

Main Body - satisfactory condition.

Rotor Spindle -(S.K.F. Sealed bearing type, Assembly EB.3930) excessively corroded.

Gland.- Internal dia. distorted - may be causing flooding of S.K.F. bearing.

Timing gears.- Cam wheel has been chalk tested - condition good. there is .002" backlash between camwheel and crank pinion.
