H.R. 285 (20 M) (X590. 6.2.19) G 2867. RE MERCEDES CAR. x 407 By an oversight no pass out card was made out on Saturday for this car on Sunday. Noticed this on Sunday but then too late to obtain one. Drove car out and round to front of office taking labourer with me to look for a rug in Test Stores, intending to see the Watchman but got engrossed in several small jobs on the car. Labourer was showing no signs of returning, so being pressed for time I drove off forgetting all about telling the Watchman. I am sorry about this but had no intention of deceiving watchman in any way. (signed) B. A.{Mr Adams} Peat. [Watermark: MADE AT CROXLEY] | ||
