Just before he commenced his holiday, Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} told us you will shortly be requiring further bodies for Experimental B.III Chassis and that one of the bodies should be a Drop-Head Coupe.

To his instructions we asked Park Ward & Co., to prepare designs of both Saloons and Drop-Head Coupes.

We specified there should be no running boards and asked the coachbuilders to work out alternative treatments of the luggage lockers.

Since then we have had several discussions with them and have seen preliminary sketches. It is hoped the finished designs will be available at the end of this week when we will send you copies.

In the meantime Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}9/N.13.8.38 has come to hand together with the prints mentioned therein, and we are handing the latter to Park Ward & Co., so they can modify their dummy chassis as necessary and take preliminary steps to set up a full size drawing.

We will endeavour to obtain a copy of "Automotive Industries" dated 30.7.38 as we shall be interested in what they have to say about the Cadillac.
