For the attention of A.V.Nicolls, Esq. Dear Sirs, Our Mr. Butterworth, who called on you recently, reports that you have carried out certain tests in connection with the distribution of heat in pistons. This we understand, has been done by incorporating wire which is first wound on to a specially prepared portion of the piston, and then the whole ground finally.
