Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am sending you, as promised, a Phantom III Carburetter, which has a cheaper finish, having only three coats of enamel instead of four.

This treatment however only applies to the barrel and bowl because all the air horns had already been completely finished, and it will be some little time before some new air horns will come through.

Therefore I thought rather than wait for this it is best to send you a carburetter on which the reduced treatment had been applied to the barrel and bowl, as this will enable you to judge the efficiency of it.

We estimate that the saving on the complete carburetter will be approximately 3/6d, to 4/- and await your report in due course.

P.T.O.
