Dear Sirs,
Calorstats - Part No. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 80893.
Referring to your letter of the 4th December, before quoting you we had to look carefully into the problems likely to be associated with the manufacture of this instrument.
We now have pleasure in quoting you 22/6d which price we hope you will consider satisfactory.
When this matter was first discussed we quoted you a lower figure, but since then we have gained considerably more experience of the manufacture of this type of thermostat and realise that there are numerous pitfalls which must be circumvented if a really first-class article is to be obtained.
We look forward to receiving your instructions.
Yours truly,
THE BRITISH THERMOSTAT CO. LTD.
W.Martin-Hurst.
