'INDIA'

Referring to CJ2/E27.2.25. We are preparing two types of experimental India cars for 10,000 miles tests.
The first of these to be completed will be without front wheel brakes and will be made similar to the instructions which have been given to the Works for cars which will have the brakes fitted at a later date.
In parallel with these, we are making 'India' cars complete with all the brake parts fitted. These we anticipate will be ready two or three weeks later.
Our anxiety is, that it is not possible to say that a chassis is suitable for front wheel brakes until it has been tested with the brakes fitted to it - therefore, we look upon the complete cars with brakes as being very urgent.
