" " Rear. 1 " " " The above, which are similar to the standard Production pieces G.56940/1. with the exception of the material and the deletion of the hardening in the bore and on end face, have been produced at Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry {Shadwell Grylls} 's request (see Material memo' BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Cgh. {W Clough} 3/W.23.12.36. Item 4.) in order to test the use of Cast Iron Flywheels on a Phosphor Bronze Hub. The new pieces are being added to the Bentley II. LOP. GB.2467. (Propeller Shaft & Universal Joints. - Hardy-Spicer.) Sec.6110., to be used as alternatives to G.56940/1. which are the standard Production pieces produced in S/ZN. Material.
