PROPELLER SHAFT & UNIVERSAL JOINT. SECTION 6110.

Please receive herewith three blue prints of each of the following :-

GB.2594. Damper Flywheel. Front. 1 off per set.
GB.2595. " " Rear. 1 " " "

The above, which are similar to the standard Production pieces G.56940/1. with the exception of the material and the deletion of the hardening in the bore and on end face, have been produced at Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}'s request (see Material memo' BY/Cgh.{W Clough}3/W.23.12.36. Item 4.) in order to test the use of Cast Iron Flywheels on a Phosphor Bronze Hub.

The new pieces are being added to the Bentley II. LOP. GB.2467. (Propeller Shaft & Universal Joints. - Hardy-Spicer.) Sec.6110., to be used as alternatives to G.56940/1. which are the standard Production pieces produced in S/ZN. Material.

This completes the instructions for the above.
