Description of Parts.
"HARTFORD" SHOCK ABSORBERS.
Origin.
To improve riding of car.
Experimental Test Report.
Tests on Hartford shock absorbers prove that they improve the car as regards (1) Absence of swaying and rolling (2) Braking (3). Knocking in transmission.
Road Test Report.
Fitted now to 8 40/50 HP cars - in each case they have effected a definite improvement.
Total mileage on all cars 10,000.
"Hartford" is a standard type shock absorber which is fitted as standard to a large number of cars.
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
