Attention of Mr.Rowbottom.

Dear Mr.Rowbottom,

I have looked up the matter of Connecting Rods.

Some new forging machines have been delayed for months and the experiments needed one of these machines. However we expect them in now in three weeks so that we can start doing something in four weeks.

We are finding difficulty in procuring steel especially when we are without Government contract numbers. At the time of writing I do not know what size or type of steel we want but is it feasible for you to get the steel for us when we are ready?

Yours faithfully,
p.p. HARDY,SPICER & CO. LIMITED

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} A.{Mr Adams} Daniel.
Director.
