For the attention of Mr. Munro.
Dear Sirs,
Enclosed please find drawing No.729391 of a Lucas windscreen wiper.
We should very much like to have this type of wiper fitted to the steel bodied Phantom III which you have in hand at the moment.
Will you please have the drawing checked up, and let us know whether it will be possible to fit the same without causing any alterations to the body.
The wiper centres required will be approximately 22.5" but you will let us know the required measurements on the drawing.
The wiper motor will be on the off side as standard.
We do not wish to cause any delay by fitting this type of wiper so that in the event of any large alteration being needed we would prefer to have the standard Klaxon type fitted.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
