PETROL TANK & FUEL FEED.

At Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB's. request we have investigated the weight of the petrol tank and the fuel feed. We suggest a 7 gallon petrol tank should be fitted which should be sufficient for the 8 & 10 H.P. models. Below we have tabulated the estimated weights of the various components.

PETROL TANK AND FUEL FEED MYTH.

PETROL TANK CARCASE = 9.000 lbs.
FILLER TUBE & CAP. = 2.000 lbs.
PETROL TANK FIXINGS. = 1.000 lbs.
PETROL PIPING & FIXINGS = 2.000 lbs.
PETROL GAUGE SINGLE WIRE = .500 lbs.
ELECTRIC PETROL TAP RESERVE = 1.500 lbs.
TOTAL = 16.000 lbs.
Petrol (7 gallons) = 52.000 lbs.
68.000 lbs.
