Stuart on the 18th inst. during which you explained the requirements for petrol strainers, also the tests you have already made of those we submitted to you. We are pleased to learn that the strainer with the lengthened cartridge and sump is likely to be satisfactory as regards fineness and would like you to prove its worth for self-cleaning, in service on a car. Meanwhile, we propose to forward at an early date two standard aluminium strainers, one for laboratory tests and the other for fitting to a car and will await your report with interest after you have had an opportunity of trying them out. LUBRICATING STRAINERS. We have pleasure in enclosing print, showing leading dimensions of a "K" type strainer which we think would be useful for the purpose of demonstrating the value of the Auto-Klean system for Forced Lubricating Systems.
