COPY. 7, Sandringham Court, Maida Vale, W.9. July 18th. A.F. Sidgreaves, Esq., Dear Sir, Yours of the 15th to hand, and in reply the particulars you desire are as follows. The absorber is of the hydraulic type, simple in construction and automatic in action, giving a far more accurate regulation than can ever be arrived at by the driver. It has several novel features, the most important being an independent control for change in loading, this control being quite unaffected by shocks received from the road.
