Replacing experimental car 34-EX with 38-EX for comparative tests.

Now that we are taking 34-EX away from the Inspection Dept. we should like to be able to replace it with 38-EX, if possible without a break or anyhow with as small a break as possible. Can you yet tell me on what day this week we can expect the car in London ? If so I can then plan to make our comparative tests with 3-AZ-22, and possibly hand the car over to whichever Inspector is to have it early next week. We note the differences between 38-EX and a standard car as set out in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/R19.1.37, but there is nothing in it that need deter us from using it in the way we intend.
