We have received from the Experimental Department, Standardisation Sheet X.6119 dated the 22nd.instant, in connection with a proposal to standardise the above, but to enable us to give the necessary information to the Estimating Department for them to take out cost figures we require a design drawing, as we understand that some alterations are necessary to enable these distributors to be fitted on the Bentley chassis. The Estimating Department will not accept statements as to how the distributors are fitted and they insist on receiving complete particulars of the standard parts to be deleted and the new ones to take their place, consequently we must have a drawing from which to produce detail drawings. We shall be glad if you will look into this matter, as in the meantime the Estimating will not take the Standardisation Sheet from us. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
