For the attention of Mr.F.J.Hardy. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your letter of the 14th instant reference as above and our acknowledgement of the 16th instant, we have now completed our drawings of the parts you are requiring and have pleasure in enclosing them herewith. The Cam we have shown in our drawing M.22166 and the Roller in drawing M.22167. We would like to refer to Section 2 of your Specification which calls for the contact between the Cam and Roller on the outside face of the Roller. Should you insist on this then of course we are prepared to manufacture the Roller accordingly, but we would remind you that the outside contact has in America been replaced by an inside contacting Roller, and it has been found that the latter is more satisfactory. We have drawn the Roller for the inside contact alternatively and enclose herewith our Drawing No.M.22168 showing this. We should be glad if you would kindly consider [Logo text left] NATIONAL SCHEME FOR DISABLED MEN [Logo text right] THE SOCIETY OF MOTOR MANUFACTURERS & TRADERS LTD | ||
